2016 ended in a way we could not have ever imagined. Our Mom was diagnosed with leukemia the week of Christmas. We spent Christmas in the hospital where she received her first round of chemo. Since then it has been a whirlwind of adverse reactions to medicine that was supposed to boost her immunity, blood count checks, ER visits and additional hospital stays. We have moved her care to MD Anderson Cancer Center. They have taken another bone marrow biopsy to understand exactly what kind of acute myeloid leukemia she has and if there is a treatment plan for it.. We will be cancelling the Lavender Festival for this year so that we can focus on her. We are still planning to be open on March 25-26th for our Spring Open House and we will have plants available for sale at that time. This may change as we find out more information.
